How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to process and evaluate rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, verify employment and rental history, communicate application status, maintain and improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.
Information Sharing
We may share your information with property managers and landlords to evaluate your application, background check services, legal authorities when required by law, and service providers who assist in operating our platform under strict confidentiality. We will never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
SMS / Text Messages
If you opt in during registration or in your tenant profile, we may send service-related text messages (rent reminders, maintenance updates, payment notices). Consent is optional, separate from email, and recorded with a timestamp on your tenant profile. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, maintain your session, and (with your consent) measure marketing performance. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. We use consent cookies to record when you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and whether you accept marketing analytics cookies.
When you accept marketing cookies, we load Google Tag Manager, which may activate Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (configured in Tag Manager) so we can understand traffic, signups, and which ad campaigns work. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. You can change your choice via the cookie banner or by clearing site cookies and revisiting the site.
We also store a first-party attribution cookie with UTM campaign parameters so we can associate a signup organization with the campaign that referred you, independent of advertising pixels.
Data Security
We implement encryption (256-bit SSL/TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), secure cloud infrastructure, role-based access control, and monitoring to protect your information.
Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Active applications are retained until withdrawn or decided; approved applications for the duration of the lease plus 7 years; declined applications for 3 years.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete (subject to legal retention), receive your data in a portable format, object to certain processing, and restrict processing. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
