1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Tenantivo ("Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Use of the Platform
The Platform is provided for property management, rental applications, tenant and manager operations, and related services. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when required
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3. Application and Tenant Information
Information provided in applications may be used for background checks, credit checks, and rental verification. False or misleading information may result in denial or lease termination. Application fees, if any, are non-refundable. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
4. Payments, disputes, and Connect
Online rent and related payments may be processed by Stripe, including Stripe Connect destination charges. Stripe may debit the Tenantivo / SCG Digital platform for card disputes, ACH unauthorized returns, and related processor fees. Your organization remains responsible for reimbursing those amounts.
- We may pause Connect payouts, reverse transfers to your connected account, and hold future payouts to recover disputed or returned funds.
- We may assess a platform dispute fee (currently US$255 per dispute or unauthorized return, configurable and subject to change with notice) in addition to Stripe’s dispute fees.
- We may suspend or reject Connect accounts for fraud or abuse. Soft disconnect in the app does not stop Stripe payouts; fraud rejection / payout pause does.
- A bank or card dispute does not cancel the underlying rent or charge owed by the tenant under the lease.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Record that you have read and accept these Terms of Service. This helps us maintain a record of consent for compliance.
