New Organization — Getting Started
Set up your Tenantivo organization from registration through Stripe Connect. Once your account is approved and payments are connected, the payment module enables tenant rent and deposit collection.

Register your organization
Create your Tenantivo account and register as a company or organization admin. This establishes your workspace and the primary login used to manage properties, tenants, and billing.
- Access the Tenantivo website. Open your browser and navigate to tenantivo.com.
- Choose a subscription plan. Click View Pricing, review the available plans, and select the option that best fits your business needs.
- Start the registration process. Go to I’m a landlord or company and click Create Company Account.
- Enter company information. In the Company and Admin Account section, enter your organization name, provide the email address, and create a secure password.
- Verify your email address. Check your inbox for a verification email from Tenantivo and click the verification link.
- Return to the login page and sign in. Enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
- Access the profile. Once signed in, you will be redirected to the Tenantivo profile, where you can begin using the platform.

- Save changes and confirm information is complete for review.

Register Stripe connection
Connect your organization to Stripe via Stripe Connect so rent and deposits route to your bank account. Once Tenantivo approves your organization and Stripe onboarding is complete, the payment module is enabled and tenants can pay bills through the tenant portal.
- Access the Stripe connection page. From the Tenantivo portal, go to Payments & Stripe. On the Payments & Stripe page, click Connect Stripe Account to begin the setup process.
- Create or sign in to Stripe. If you already have a Stripe account, sign in. Otherwise, create a new Stripe account using your email address.
- Select your business type. Choose whether you are registering as an individual or a company/business.
- Enter business information. Provide your business information, such as business name, address, industry, and tax information if required.
- Enter representative information. Provide information about the account representative, including name, date of birth, and contact details.
- Verify your identity. Stripe may request identity verification, such as a government-issued ID and, in some cases, proof of address.
- Add your bank account. Enter the bank account where you want to receive payouts from Stripe.
- Review and submit. Review all information and submit your application for verification.
- Complete the connection. Once verification is complete, Stripe redirects you back to Tenantivo and your Stripe account is connected.

Reference & help
Troubleshooting for Stripe Connect plus links to dig deeper. Most setup issues come from incomplete onboarding or a mismatch between your business details and Stripe’s verification requirements.
Common Stripe Connect issues
Onboarding is “pending” or payouts are disabled
Stripe usually still needs information. Open your Stripe dashboard and look for a requirements / verification banner — common gaps are tax ID, business address, representative date of birth, or a verification document. Once all requirements are cleared, Stripe enables charges and payouts and reports the connected status back to Tenantivo.
Identity or document verification keeps failing
Upload a clear, full-color image of a valid, non-expired government ID, and make sure the legal name and date of birth match exactly what you entered. If a proof of address is requested, use a recent document (utility bill or bank statement) showing the same name and address.
Bank account rejected or payouts not arriving
Confirm the routing and account numbers are correct and that the account accepts ACH transfers and is in the same country/currency as your Stripe account. A new connection’s first payout can take a few business days while Stripe completes verification.
Stripe says an account already exists for my email
Sign in to the existing Stripe account during onboarding instead of creating a new one, then continue back to Tenantivo. Using the same email keeps your history and avoids duplicate Connect accounts.
I finished Stripe but Tenantivo still shows “not connected”
Make sure you completed onboarding all the way until Stripe redirected you back to Tenantivo. Refresh Payments & Stripe page. If it still shows disconnected, your organization may be awaiting Tenantivo approval, or Stripe may still list outstanding requirements.
